D. Trump's new appointments to the White House
Only two weeks left before D. Trump becomes the president of the United States. He had chosen many positions in his new administration and nominated possible faces of the US government for the next four years.
When Trump and Vance were elected to run the new administration, dozens of top jobs were up for grabs. People who supported them in this journey and helped the former president emerge victorious expected to land an important position.
While many of Trump’s Cabinet picks still need Senate approval, and some of the more controversial choices might face challenges, he has assembled his ideal team. He supported some Silicon Valley supporters and pro-crypto personas, showing his strong stance on making America a pro-crypto country.
His selections include a mix of Fox News personalities, billionaire business leaders, and political insiders. These are the people Trump has chosen for key roles in his administration—positions that will give them direct access to the Oval Office once he is sworn in.
Ahead of the inauguration, Trump assigns lawyer S. Woodward White House role
D. Trump chose Stanley Woodward, a lawyer who has defended several president-elect's supporters and top aides and even people charged in the January 6th attack. He is chosen to join the White House legal team[1].
Stanley E. Woodward will serve as Assistant to the President and Senior Counselor, working closely with the White House Chief of Staff. Trump announced Woodward’s appointment in a statement, highlighting his background as a respected litigator and co-founder of Brand Woodward Law, LP.
Woodward has represented high-profile clients in complex legal battles, including multiple federal jury trials. Before that, he worked at a multinational law firm, where he defended international corporations accused of violating U.S. foreign corruption laws and served as coordinating counsel for companies involved in nationwide federal litigation.
Three other politicians returning to the Trump administration
Three out of four recently named people are returning members of the previous administration under D. Trump. Robert Gabriel Jr. will return to the White House to become the Assistant to the President for Policy. He has served Trump in various roles since 2015, including his campaign in presidential elections[2].
His start was in Trump Tower as a Policy Advisor. Also, Gabriel served in the West Wing for the entire first Trump run as the president. He was a Special Assistant to the President then. Gabriel later advised the Save America leadership PAC and helped transform the Mar-a-Lago political operation into a national presidential campaign apparatus.
Rober Gabriel Jr. was a Senior Advisor at the campaign headquarters in Palm Beach and previously worked in television. He was an Associate Producer on Fox News's program The Ingraham Angle.
Another returning person is Nicholas F. Luna, who will join the Office of the Chief of Staff as assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic implementation. D. Trump called Luna "a highly respected White House veteran and a Trump-Vance campaign warrior" and expressed their support for the politician.
Nicholas F. Luna is named a veteran for a reason. He has a long history in the White House, having previously served as Presidential Trip Director, Personal Aide to the President, Assistant to the President, and Director of Oval Office Operations. Most recently, he played a key role as Director of Operations for Vice President-elect JD Vance.
In his new senior role at the White House, Luna will manage the President’s schedule and ensure the administration’s messaging, outreach, and operations stay on track with both short- and long-term goals. Working with a highly experienced team, he will also oversee the public-facing side of significant White House policies, legislative efforts, and key events.
The third person returning to the office is William Beau Harrison. He will be the Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations. Harrison has been given the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service for his accomplishments and duties performed across the Executive Branch.
He already served as that liaison between the operational elements of the Executive Office of the president and was charged with the coordination and execution of all presidential travel during the first Trump term.
These travels included dozens of complex international visits. Harrison participated in and led multiple US delegations across the world. Those include countries like North Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan. These people are trusted allies of D. Trump and should help him successfully lead the country again.
